On the first day of my course we were taught about "Braille" and the Blind.The first assignment given to us was to  make a visiting card for the blind and visually able.We were then asked to make a T-shirt for the blind with Braille  printed on it.Next we were asked to walk blind folded to get a feel of the visually disablled world.After which were split  into groups of four, each group had to present a poster for blind awareness in all the four Srishti campus's. We were then split into groups of three, each group assigned their own part of the project. The project was to make the Srishti N3 campus blind friendly.As I was part of the product design group, we were focusing on the staircase,toilet entrances and  the elevator.We made ramps for the toilet entrances which would make it easier and safer for the blind to enter the toilet. We also put braille at the beginning of the staircase railing for the blind to know how many stairs they need to climb to reach the next floor. We also brailled the elevator buttons to make the lift user friendly for the visually disabled.
